Xmas Grinch
why don’t you like Christmas ? I get asked all the time..... there are so many reasons... but you have children..... so just because I have Children doesn’t mean I have to like Christmas.. anyone else in the same boat?
I can’t be the only one who thinks it’s just another commercialised, money wasting day... seriously I don’t think In BC they were putting up Xmas trees and wrapping presents and shopping like it’s the last day on earth ...
Ohhhhh and then ..... you have the keeping up with the jones families who go into huge debt just so that their children have the latest and bestest of what’s on the market..
I think it’s more important to spend time with your family and friends and make memories all year round not just on one day...
I am excited this year that the boys and I are going camping for a few days from Boxing Day which I am looking forward to... just getting away testing out the new camper trailer and spending time with my dad and his wife... That is making memories that my boys will remember...
next year for Xmas I plan on registering the boys and I to volunteer in a soup kitchen to help the less fortunate so they my boys can see how lucky they are to have a roof over their head, to be able to eat when they like, to shower when they like.. to appreciate the simpler things in life....
Do something out of your comfort zone this week and tell me about it.....
